Our field day event will be this coming Tuesday, May 2nd (rain date will be Thursday May 4th) at the Chieftain Park and THS football field area. The third grade will be walking to the park and riding busses back to school after our events have concluded later that afternoon. Below you will find information about the day.
Lunches: All students need to bring a lunch and drink as we will eat at the VFW Park during or scheduled time. If you ordered a school lunch for your child, they will pick it up at the park that day.
Water Bottles: All students are asked to bring a water bottle with them for field day. They will be responsible for transporting the water bottle with them from station to station. Please label all water bottles with your child’s name.
Sports Wagon: If anyone has a sports wagon they would be willing to let us borrow on field day I would be highly appreciative. This will allow us a safe place to put water bottles, first aid kit, and other needed materials for the day.
Team Shirts: Our team color will be gray. Please have your child wear a gray t-shirt that day.
Sunscreen: Please apply sunscreen on your child before they leave for school on field day. We are rushed in the morning and I will not have time to apply sunscreen to all students.
Schedule: I have a schedule of events for our class on the back with locations for each event. The HS and rec commission have asked us not to run or be on the large soccer field as they have had to reseed. Please walk around the outside on the sidewalks.
Cameras or phones: Please do not send cameras or phones with your child.

9:40-10:10 Station 1 (Track Relay)
10:15-10:40 Station 6 (Tug-A-War; back side hill behind football practice field)
10:40-11:00 Restroom Break
11:00-11:30 Station 4 (Soccer Fields- Chieftain Park)
11:45-12:15 Lunch at VFW Park
12:20-12:50 Station 2 (High School Football Practice Field)
12:50 Load busses and return to school
